To update the map of the navigator, register on the website and log into your personal area. Enter the VIN of your car and check whether new updates are available.
If the navigator of your car is covered by the Mopar Map Care programme, you can download the updated map directly from your personal page.
Click on "Instructions" on the personal page of the website next to the "Download map" button for complete installation information. If you want, you can update the navigation system of your car at an authorised Workshop. In this case, the dealer may charge you for the cost related to the installation of the update on your navigation system.
If your vehicle is not covered by the Mopar Map Care service, you will be sent to the map provider's website from where you can download updates optimised for your navigator.
The VIN code is the univocal number that identifies your vehicle. You can find it on the car documents (e.g. the registration certificate and the warranty certificate). According to the model of your car, the VIN code is printed on the windscreen or on the front door threshold. If the entered VIN code does not correspond to your car, please contact Customer Service.
Yes, you need to download both files from your personal page to update the navigation system of your car. Click on "Download license" and then on "Download map". Once download has ended, save the map files and the licence on a USB flash drive.
Log into your personal page. You will see if new updates are available starting from the last map you requested on the portal for each vehicle. The Mopar Map Care service guarantees new updates every three months.
The geographic area of the map offered by the Mopar Map Care service depends on the country you selected during registration. Please contact Customer Service if the map offered covers a geographic area which is not the one you want.

The maps can be updated even if your car is second-hand: the car registration on the Map Update website does not depend on the previous owner.
The Mopar Map Care programme lasts for three years from when the vehicle warranty starts.
